7/09/09 BLUERIDGE CHOSEN TO PROVIDE OAK PANELLING

We were asked to provide samples in several different finishes before the client was satisfied with the design.
The product involves using European Oak strips fixed to plywood panels which are then erected and fixed to the exterior of the building.
Blueridge were consulted on the nature of the oak to be used and the type of finish to be applied. The panels will be fixed to both the outside and inside of the building, separated by a glass panel, giving the impression that the panelling flows seamlessly from the inside to the outside of the building.
On the basis of this project, Blueridge were asked to quote for other buildings currently being costed by the client, including a smoked oak staircase and an oak bris soleil.
